Surrendered animals are pets that people can no longer care for. They want to find their animals new and loving homes.
Cause for Critters is willing to help and in doing so requires the following:
- Favorite toys, collars, leashes, beds and kennels should come with your pet to ease the animal's transition into their new home.
- Vet records if available.
- Each owner is required to submit a $100.00 cash surrender fee that will cover some of the costs in caring for the animal including vet check-ups, updated vaccinations, food, boarding, grooming and advertising.
- Owners are encouraged to keep their animal with them if possible until Cause for Critters finds a new permanent home. One move is better than two for your pet.
- Owners must sign a surrender form and records release form surrendering ownership to Cause for Critters before adoption is possible.
Cause for Critters takes the time to find the perfect family for your pet. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like us to help.
